About Jon Cooper

Although over the years Jon has had some amazing results accounting for more 20's 30's and 40's than most can dream of there is one result
in his angling that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

On the 6th of December 2001 armed with a prototype mix of the PP60 Jon banked a brace of 50lb carp.
As far as we are aware this had never been done before and to this day still hasn't been repeated.
The two fish in question were the Italian at 50.08 lb and the big common at 51.08.
Jon then went on to catch several more fish and became the first angler
to land a 40 lb carp in the year of 2002 when he banked Moonscale
at just over 40lb on the 17th of January.

Following on from his recent success he then followed this up by catching yet another 50 lb fish when he
landed the Italian again this time at ounces over 50 lb during a session in early February. Two weeks later he
then ended his run of big fish with the little common at 46.08.
Although Happy with what he had achieved there was one other fish in the country that Jon desired to
catch. Benson the uk's largest common that resided in Northampton!Jon's campaign for Benson started
in Feb but was cut short when he banked the impressive fish at 56lb in an early April session. He went on to
land this fish twice more during his time on the water , once again the same year and once the year after.

Jon firmly believes the key to the capture of 6 Uk' 50 pound carp was quite simply due to the
application of nutritional bait.
